"(this is late) OMG, I loved it! I seriously think it was the perfect season opener. It certainly reminded me of why I fell in love with the show. I never watch live shows, the commercials annoy me, but I watched it live, because I was so excited for it, and it did NOT disappoint. :) neither did Secret Circle. . .I need this show in my life too."
sydneysagee

it was pretty awesome. even my bf was like wow this is some twisted stuff. the secret circle to me is very predictable but ill give one more episode a watch before i drop it from my radar. =)

So..

I decided I should blog again and not just “like” all the cool stuff i see on tumblr. so hello to all those out there. welcome new followers and HIIII to all the old ones, great to see all your faces or erm blogs =D

so currently im excited for fall to come cause that means its my birthday, halloween, cool movies are coming out like tuck and dale vs evil. and lots of other goodies

currently im in LOVE with Mumford and Sons. i guess ive been living under a rock these past few months and just recently learned of their awesomeness. their lyrics are just brilliant.

anyway. i’ll keep you guys posted on new stuff going on. unless i decide to disappear again. ttfn <3

"thanks for liking so many of my posts. you make me and my blog feel special. haha :)"
uhlissssuh

you’re welcome. im mostly on tumblr for liking cool stuff.. i dont blog much. =)

"lol, how was it. . .?

it was like the Damon.Elena-but not really 'cause it was katherine- kiss all over again, I realize TVD likes to play mind games, so many unforeseen things happened in 42 minutes. lol"

sydneysagee

as always a mind fuck, great! =D

"yeah, did not realize it.

lol, and Twitter is annoying, so is FB. I don't really like them, the people seem so. . fake. lol did you watch TVD last night?"

sydneysagee

i missed it cause i was doing some other stuff, guess i gotta watch it online. how was it?

"I am saying man, She said the sleepiness or the over eating the not wanting to leave the house, it all comes from depression, and sometimes people are mislead about the actual terms of it, or what it means.

(sighs) and when she explained that to me, I could see why she'd think it was depression, even when I said 'but I'm not depressed' I could feel that it wasn't the whole truth, my dreams and hopes are all so far away, and I have so many issues that I struggle with.

lmfao. I never take medicine unless I REALLY have to, like for cramps, I can't tolerate or a headache I can't take, so I might not take these. lol

anyways, how you been?! I miss you! I'm never on twitter anymore, so we hardly talk. lol"

sydneysagee

so i wrote a really long response to you yesterday but tumblr spazzed and didnt post it. and i wasnt feeling well to retype everything over again. so my apologies for not responding sooner

i’ll try to remember all that i said. depression is definitely a serious thing. a hs friend of mine had it for a while and took meds, they seemed to help and she saw a psychologist. and shes better now than she was before so i guess they helped. maybe your depression may be seasonal or just mild. but i dont think taking just meds is going to make you better cause at the end of the end you may need someone to talk to, so maybe a combo of meds and psychologist is a good idea. im not too crazy on antidepressants cause they do more harm than good but they can also save lives. i sounds like a totally contradiction (lol)  maybe you just need to take a step back from everything and find something to put your energy into, find something you are passionate about, and dont give up on your dreams. i can understand you may have issues and we all do, we just gotta learn to take it all in small steps.

ive been good, just busy with all the shit life likes throwing my way. ive been totally MIA from twitter cause its annoying to me now that its soooo big. and tumblr i occasionally go on and “like” a lot of stuff but dont make any posts. and if you need to chat, message me here or just find me on fb or email me. i am always here if you need me =)

Saint Valentine

In honour of Valentine’s Day, I thought we’d take a brief moment to explore ol’ Saint Valentine’s origins. There were more than a few St. Valentines in the lists of the martyred saints of ancient Rome; this is largely due to the fact that the name “Valentine” was a particularly popular one in Late Antiquity (it was derived from valens and meant “worthy, strong, and/or powerful”).

In 496 CE, Pope Gelasius I established the first feast of St. Valentine for February 14, putting ol’ Valentine’s name among those “whose names are justly reverenced among men, but whose acts are known only to God.” We don’t know much about the particular Valentine who gives us February 14 as his feast day, other than the fact that on this day he was buried at the Via Flaminia, north of Rome. The Valentine that appears in various martyrologies in connections with the 14th of February is described as being either a priest in Rome, a bishop, or a martyr in the Roman province of Africa.

Much later, around 1260 CE, the Legenda Aurea of Jacobus de Voragine said that Saint Valentine was brought before the Emperor Claudius, and refused to deny Christ in the year 280 CE. Before he was beheaded, this Valentine restored sight and hearing to the daughter of his jailer with his saintly powers.

People care too much about documenting experiences rather than enjoy them while they happen.

had the same though today while waiting for the train. everyone had their phones, camera’s out recorded how many people were waiting for the train to come.
